Updated 3rd June....
Do you receive our school Newsletter by e-mail? Over 150 families have already nominated to receive the Newsletter by e-mail. There are a number of advantages to receiving the newsletter by e-mail. Firstly, you get the e-mail on Wednesday as soon as it is completed. The online Newsletter is by far the best medium to see the photo’s that are included in the Newsletter. They are always in full colour. You also are able to access any back issues of our Newsletter on our website.
As a school we are aiming to have as many families as possible receive Newsletters by e-mail. The savings to the school and the environment are enormous. To produce a printed copy of the Newsletter for 450 families each week of the school year consumes an incredible amount of paper. Our weekly Newsletter averages about 10 pieces of paper. That amounts to 4,500 pieces of paper a week or for a full year around 180,000 pieces of paper. On top of this, of course, is the printing cost. If we are able to achieve our goal of ‘as many families as possible receiving an e-Newsletter’, we stand to save $3,000 to $4,000 per year. Not to mention saving lots of trees.
Individual family members are able to request a Newsletter to their work or home e-mail address. Please give consideration to receiving an e-Newsletter instead of a printed one.

New website: A Fantastic Success.
We appreciate all the positive feedback we have received about our school’s new website. It has been fantastic to see the number of ‘hits’ or page openings on our new website. Have a look in the bottom left hand corner of the home page of the website and you will see the graph of our page openings. We are aiming to exceed 1,000 page openings a day. If you haven’t yet set our website as your homepage on your computer you can do so by clicking on the prompt at the top right hand corner of our website homepage.
Cheers,
Neil Sproal.
