Year 1 & 2 Aquarium Visit

On Tuesday the Year 1’s and 2’s went to the Aquarium. At the Aquarium we saw cuttlefish. The cuttlefish were amazing because they change colours. Next we saw the stonefish. If you step on one you’ll need to go to the hospital straight away because they are so poisonous. We also saw the penguins. They were so cute and we saw lots of other sea creatures too. On Tuesday 5th May all the Year one’s and two’s went to the Melbourne Aquarium for our topic “How do Animals Survive” . We all arrived there by four big and fun buses. When we arrived at the Aquarium we ate our snacks. When our grade was finished we met our guide Lloyd. Before we hopped on the bus, each got a different animal sticker. My grade was a shark. My favourite animal was the penguins because some of them were swimming and some were playing and sleeping on the ice. I liked the grumpy stone-fish and the slimy green eels looked like they were sleeping. By Sienna Bradley 2L
On Tuesday all grade 1s and 2s went on a bus to the Melbourne Aquarium. We saw a lot of fish. The best bit was the jelly fish. The sharks were cool! My favourite part was the stingrays. I saw 3 different types of crabs. One crab was nearly as long as two cars! I liked the catfish a lot. Kai 2L
