A Message from the Principal

Welcome to Term 2 - 2021

How wonderful it has been to get Term 2 off to a normal start this year!

We certainly have a busy term ahead and we have our fingers crossed that all planned events will unfold smoothly.

Our Year 1 students will get straight into their two week intensive Swimming program at the start of the term.

An important Parent Forum on Wednesday 5th May at 7.00pm will aim to seek feedback from parents to help chart the school’s future Strategic Planning.

We look forward to hosting our Mother’s Day stall this year on Thursday 6th May for all students to purchase a gift for mum or someone special in their lives.

The school’s third Staff Training Day for 2021 will be held on Friday 7th May. Please note that this is a student free day.

Week 4 of this term is particularly busy with Years 3 & 5 students participating in their NAPLAN testing, whilst Year 6 students will be enjoying a five day camping experience at Howqua.

School Photos for all year levels are planned for Wednesday 26th May.

A series of tour dates have been organised for this term to host prospective families who would like to tour the school. Parents who have children beginning in Foundation next year will find these tours to be very informative as they are guided around the school by our student leaders.

The school will be closed for the annual Queen’s Birthday holiday on Monday 14th June.

As the term begins to wind down, parents have a fabulous chance to re-establish their connectedness and dance the night away at a ‘Parent Bash’ on Saturday 5th June.

As always, please keep a close eye on the newsletter throughout the term as further events unfold.

We look forward to your participation and engagement with the school during Term 2.
