Assistant Principal Report’s

I’ve had a joyful week of Diwali celebrations, culminating in a full day of eating, lighting lamps and sparklers, and spending quality time with my family and friends on Sunday. Diwali is a festival of lights that celebrates the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and the blessings of victory, freedom, and enlightenment. As such, I’d like to extend our warmest well wishes to all families that celebrated over the weekend!

Any great ideas to help our school commemorate this milestone?

Would you like to volunteer in a small (or large!) way to help with the events, education, marketing, and commemorative program?

Junior Boys Regionals Basketball Hoop Time – Regionals Finals

On Monday 30th October, the Boys Junior Basketball team played in the Regionals event at Eagle Stadium, Werribee. I am very pleased to announce that the team won through to their spot to the State Finals in December – Congratulations!

The students played five round robin games where they won four of these and fought back brilliantly in their only narrow loss. As our team finished second I the group, they played a final against the winner of 3rd vs 4th. Our team again worked extremely well together and won this game by approximately 13 points to advance through!

A big well done to all of the players who performed brilliantly and demonstrated the school values across the day.

Also a big thank you to Ben, who spent a lot of his time coaching the team – and also to the other parents/guardians who came along to support.

It was a terrific experience overall and great to be part of.

2. Ensuring you have in date reliever mediation and keep this on hand. Make sure there is medicine in your reliever too. Remember, each canister contains approximately 200 doses.

Following your written Asthma Action Plan. If you don’t have a written Asthma Action Plan, visit your doctor to have one completed.

Knowing the four steps for Asthma First Aid and what to do in an asthma emergency.
